Porkronymus Bosch
Warning: This is a buggy prototype
Inspired by a desire to try to create a JRPG that you can play through in a single sitting and the Mega Man Battle Network battle UI, Porkronymous Bosch was created during RVA Game Jam's 2024 Cabin Jam.
Combat revolves around grids and character specific decks.
Each character has a deck specific to them that is generated by their equipment. Their stats are also determined by their equipment. Oats, the Betrayer should one hit kill enemies so hold off on using the 'endtimes' card until you are ready to end combat.
Each character can play one card per round. Once all characters have played a card, they will refresh and their cards will be available again.
Card effects fall into three categories:
- attack
- heal
- move
heal relies on an unlisted heal stat. I think one character might have 0 heal.
The wheel card also doesn't seem to function right but should still shuffle enemies around.
The game will crash once all enemies are defeated.
